Miscellaneous

I had a call from a man stating he was calling from Microsoft which he verified through a large number located in my computer that I opened to for vitrifaction which was correct. He had me count a lengthy list of red and yellow icons attached to files which he said were infections and my computer will crash any time. I needed to pay 299.00 to protect the PC and they would stop the infection and increase the speed of the computer. I was hesitant to continue and he reassured me several times that Microsoft was the only source that could fix this. I proceeded to allow remote access to them and paid to a bank called cyberastroltd with my visa card $300.39 and was told there will be another charge once the work was complete for $100.00. I have stopped my visa and will dispute the charge at my bank. It is a scam and I was taken - I did not listen to my gut feelings.
