I got a call from a private number. The male with a thick middle eastern accent said my computer could crash any minute. He said he was with Microsoft and that my computer was being hacked every time I got online or used my email. I told him that I don't have a Microsoft computer and he called me a liar. I told him that I have a Mac and he said they were working with Macintosh to fix this problem. Yeah Right! He told me to go to Google and download something called TEAMVIEWERQS (remote control, remote access and online meetings). I argued with him for 20 minutes that he was trying to get access to my computer and he started yelling at me. I told him to call back in 5 minutes so I could call Macintosh to confirm (knowing he was lying). I called Apple and they verified that this was a scam and helped me check my computer to make sure everything was ok. During this conversation, I got another call from a private number which I didn't answer. Another 5 minutes later I got a call from 11800724469 which again I didn't answer. The representative with Apple Googled this number and found out this number has been used in scams trying to hack into other computers and possibly take their information. Be careful!!!
