On March 26th I put on layaway an $800 Bella Mia #15-1684 wedding dress with LeAnne White at Downtown Gowns. On September 13th, LeAnne told me she would be closing the shop on 9/24 but not to worry that she would honor her promise to do my alterations. I made payment in full on 9/13 and also ordered a bridesmaids dress.

I did not take the dress with me on 9/13 as she was supposed to do the alterations. After repeated calls and emails to her to get my dresses I saw her walking down Merchant St in Vacaville on 10/6 and confronted her. She agreed to meet me at the Vacaville Outlets at 5pm on 10/7.

When I met her on 10/7 she had the bridesmaids dresses but not my wedding dress saying she would meet on 10/9 to give it to me. The morning of 10/9 LeAnne sent me an email stating her former business partner Jennifer had taken my dress and was holding it for ransom, that I should call Jennifer myslef to try to get it back.

I am getting married in one month and I don't have my $800 dress. This is the absolute worst case of customer service/fraud/theft I have ever encountered.
