Failure to Deliver as Promised

TJ Formal sells formal wear including bridesmaids' dresses. Our family has several daughters all of whom were in a wedding. One dress was sent which was improperly sized. The "no-return" policy of this company meant that we needed to reorder and pay for a second dress and ask for a rush. We were guaranteed delivery about 10 days ahead of the wedding (and we need to have alterations done). We call to check to see if the dress shipped and find out that we need to check with the dress manufacturer. Dress hasn't been shipped, but we are told it will be expressed overnight to us and arrive no later than the Tuesday before the wedding. We call on Wednesday to find out where the dress is.

TJ Formal Customer Service is NOT very helpful at all! They dump all responsibility on the manufacturer and the customer. They are unreasonable when it comes to common sense consideration.

I cannot say enough negative things about my family's experience.
