I was buying a used Honda Pilot. I specifically asked if there was anything wrong with the vehicle. I was told "absolutely not." I had noticed that the rear air was not working, and was told that it was going to be fixed before I picked up the vehicle the next day. Within 400 miles my SRS light came on, and the rear air was still not working right. I took it back in, and they told me it wasn't suppose to work the way I thought it was. I was told to go to Honda for the SRS light. I mentioned the air problem, and they told me it was suppose to work the way I thought. They checked their records, and told me the previous owner knew of the problem. He didn't want to get it fixed, and that was a reason for him to trade in the vehicle. Mataga's service man stated that they didn't have the equipment to really work on Honda vehicles. I was going to take it back to Honda to fix the air problem, but it was $653 out of my pocket, because the hoses are not covered under the warranty. Mataga's finance person told me that they always take care of their customers. So, I went back to them to fix it. They didn't. They just gave me another excuse that nothing was wrong. I explained that there were more symptoms to the problem, but they just excused that too. Now, my engine is running very hard when the air is on, and making a crazy noise. I will take it back to Honda, but don't feel that I should have to pay the $653 when the problem was supposed to be taken care of before I got the vehicle. Not only that, I wouldn't have bought it if I was told the truth. Can you help with this situation?
