They send me message on my mobile that I have won GBP 550,000 in an International Mobile promotion. I was requested to sent my name, address and e-mail address to claimsms@cooltoad.com to claim. It came from Tel. No. 905338712449, the message was sent on the 21/8 at 3.35pm Ghana Time. The President / C.E.O. Of the Telecommunication was given as Mrs. Gene Rose Camp. Their tel. No. Is 44 (0) 7031804894.
I forwarded what they requested, then I was told the money was deposited in temporary account in my name at the Halifax Bank Plc, UK and that I should to them to release the money through this e-mail fundremittancehfbpk@london.com. The Bank then requested me to apply for financial service order from the Financial Service Authority (Manchester) Regional Office (their e-mail fundreleaseorder@fsa-fro.org), UK. To enable submit to the Bank the F.S. O together with my scan passport and the award certificate. All this I obliged, except the Finance Service Order (FSO), I was required to pay an equivalent of 3,670.00 Ghana cedis as charges through Money Gram to Financial Service Authority which I felt should have be package as part of the award. The burden should not be pass on to the Winner. I smell some rot somewhere. I do not think they are genuine. Please check and give me a feed back so that I advice myself. Thank you.
