Miscellaneous

I recieved a phone call from a person named rynn smith, stating that he was an attorney and was handleing a case which states that i have an outstanding payday loan and they r trying to collect the debt. The number they called from was 408-900-9757. First of all I have only taken out one payday loan out in my life, and it was paid on the due date in full. I ask the guy what date was loan was taken out on and to my surprise he could not provide that information. I assured him that i would check my bank records to be completely sure that i have no out standing loans. He called not only my cell phone but my place of employeement back to back until i answered. I did not return his call like i said i would and this was on the 23rd of sept. Then on the 24th of sept, i recieved another phone call from (951) 489-0227 and the guy left a message stating that he was officer Jack Thompson and i was to return his call asap. I done a google search on this and realized that this it a scam and someone needs to put a stop to this, they are bothering innocense people and lead in termination of employeement if they do not stop. Rynn Smith (first caller) wanted to me send them $512.00 in full to them to assure that this would not be turned over to a criminal case in their system. I refused to do so. I just want to know how they can obtain my personal information from a website that states that my information is highly propected. I would appreicate it if you could check into this and make sure its a scam. If its not then I would gladly take care of my debt.

Thank You
