I purchased an adrive account and had it working for a year with no problems. The backup cloud computing hard drive service worked as it should. However, the passwords requirements on it are elaborate, which led to my current problem.

I hadn't accessed the website recently and forgot my password. Adrive said that if I was a paying member (which I am, but probably not for much longer), they would email me a replacement password. They never did.

I emailed their tech support about this. I got a form email stating that they would only respond to my query if I was a paying customer and not one of their free trial people. I never heard back from them. They also suggested that I try their forums for help, but you have to log in with your password. That's a problem when you can't remember your password.

I saw on their FAQ that sometimes an email account will not process their emails due to SPAM settings. I checked my email SPAM folder. Nothing in it from Adrive. I tried asking for a tech support response sent to a different email address. I got their form letter, but no actual response to my problem.

I contacted their billing department. No luck. I got zero response from them. This company at one time did a good job, now I feel incredibly scammed. I had set up my subscription to autorenew, so now I feel like they are draining my bank account without providing a service. I believe that the technical term for that technique is theft. I will post my complaint on every consumer report board I will find until I hear from the people at adrive with a very clear explanation of how this could happen. Do not use this company's services!
