Sold a Faulty Engine

Last week I spoke with a salesman named Chris and told him I needed a new engine for my Ford pickup. He assured me he had a good engine and I payed him over $400.00. When the engine was delivered, my mechanic refused to put it in, siting all of the broken and missing parts. My husband then called back Classic and was hung up on and told we would not be getting a refund, although we had a 90 day warranty.

Chris finally had a "heart" and sent a new engine. It looked in better shape, but was for a manual transmission not an automatic.By this time I had to pay over $90.00 in the rental of a hoist which should have only been $30.00. The "new' engine came with no cluth fan etc etc. And I believe Chris purposely took out the rotar to the distributor for spite because in his words..."we were a problem" He bad mouthed my mechanic whom I trust and has always been not only fair but worked on all my vehicles. The truck, which I use for my tree business has been down for over a week now and I loose money on a daily basis! Thanks Classic.
