A charge came through on my debit account. It was $30.00. There was no information on the transaction line, except for a phone number, just a phone number and whats called an ACH #. When I called to dispute the charge, they said I checked a box on a website saying I agree to become a member, and enter into a "Payment protection plan", and that I supposably agreed to the fee of $30.00 which I did not.
However I demanded a refund, I thought it was phishy that they didnt give me a run a round, and it was almost prompt that they agreed to refund my money. Which I found odd. They said please allow 7-10 business days. It has been 13 days. Still no refund. They gave me a refund confirmation number. Today is the 13th day, still no refund to my account. I called, about 5 times. Kept being put on hold then hearing music, then I would hear would sounded like someone hanging up the phone. I finally spoke with a woman, I told her I still didnt receive refund, she told me she was escalating the my issue to the accounting department. She said check my bank account within 48 hours, and the $30.00 should be there. We will see. Im checking tomorrow and if its not there I am calling my bank to report it.
