PLEASE beware of this unscrupulous company that buys old lists and sends out letters to people... Approx. 5 years ago, I owed $247.00 to a gas company that was PAID IN FULL to them directly (I have the cancelled bank check).. Several months ago, I received atleast 5 phones calls per day—automated messages, as well as people calling and harrassing me about this so called unpaid bill from 5 years ago... I told them that it was paid in full, and that I have the cancelled check to prove it... And to stop and desist from calling and harrassing me. I turned this over to my attorney who sent them a letter... The next thing that I discovered was that this company put this inquiry on my credit report... I had perfect credit score and this issue lowered it... What could I do now? Has anyone had the same problems with this company... Look at usacomplaints.com and you will see terrible problems with this horrid company... Please advise... Thanks...
