Harrassing phone calls for a debt not owed

I had a neighbor use my soc number w/o permission 8 years ago. I then started to receive letters and the occasional phone call from mcm and they were very rude and uncooperative about this situation.

Since then, it had been reported on my credit report and was due to come off 12. I checked my credit report and not only was it still there, this company changed the collection date to make it current. I called transunion and disputed this and it was removed off my credit but now i am receiving hostile harrassing calls.

Today I received 13 calls in the space of 5 minutes, all of them blocked from mcm. I have to be honest and i did use vulgar language and name calling but come on now. This is not a valid debt and they know it but to harrass me like that is ILLEGAL. Where is my government at when this is happening.

I have filed a complaint with the federal trade commission, the BBB, the Illinois attorney general and have even placed a tracer on my phone to trace their "blocked" calls. I just finished sending them a certified cease and desist letter and my hope is that they keep calling. If they read this, be aware that once i am pissed off; I am a pit bull with a bone and i'm gonna try to rip your face off if you touch it.in other words, I am gunning for you with every breath in my body.

My advice when dealing with this company is to send out a letter and keep a paper trail on the harrassment. Who knows, eventually the people they harrass will be their new boss..
