Portfolio recovery
This company doesn't know what there doing nor how to handle problems

I started receiving phone calls A few yrs ago from portfolio recoveries on a debt. I questioned them on what debt I had and what yr. I was told on a vehicle - which I told them I had my bank pay off the bank where I got the vehicle loan, then they said a kitchen set which again I told them I paid off with income tax. The person went on with other items that I had got off my credit and I new I had paid them off just as well.

Then they brought up a check that I received and signed, which I don't ever remember getting a check, so I asked them to send me ALL the paperwork so I could go over everything and I asked for the copy of the check - front and back so I could see if it was my signature. I never received anything from portfolio recovery.

The information they are giving me was from the early 2000s. But yet to this day they are still calling my parents house asking for me and harrassing my parents. My parents have told them that I moved out of state and that there was no way to contact me at that time but still they continue to call my parents.

I noticed a couple years ago they were on my credit report and when I checked my credit report last year they were no longer on it so I figured the calls would stop, I was wrong!

I've also had problems with some of the employees with attitudes and this includes one of the supervisors.in my own opinion this company needs to be closed down or find people that know what they're talking about. The calls need to stop!
