I was a Time Warner Cable customer for 14 years. What a fool I was! I thought abut changing for about 5 years. The rates continued to rise. I always received different monthly prices for the same cable package when calling different customer service representatives. Location was Elyria, OH.
I added two receivers within the last year and they raised my rates higher than promised, after several complaints and calling over and over again, I did receive some credit, not totally correct though.
Then while I was in Hawaii in November a receiver did not work for over a month. My son informed them of the problem, however since he was not an authorized user on my contract, (he is over 21) they did not do anything while I was on vacation.
When I came home they refused a credit for the receivers not working for the time I was gone, company policy I was told. However had I put my son on before I departed I would have got a credit!
Once I was closing the account, I called to make sure my account was closed and assured no more bills would be deducted from my checking account. However it was and after over 4 hours of phone calls and hassle I did receive the proper refund
Time Warner customer service is beyond terrible, it is so bad it cannot be described, they are the worst company I have experienced in my 58 years of life by far.
