Atlantic Anti-Aging
Refused to pay for services rendered

After completing web and graphic design work requested by the owners of Atlantic Anti-Aging, they refused to pay for the work. They claimed they valued my work and had intentions of paying, but after 30 days I still was not paid, and they were still using my work. They never disputed the quality of the work, and in fact complimented me on my skill. They simply skipped out on the bill. Since they locked me out of the website and I could not repossess the uncompensated work, I went online and broadcasted what they did in a few places. Only then did I get a response from the owner full of threats and curse words. He stated he would not only sue me, but call all of my other clients and tell them that I reused original work I did for them; a blatant, slanderous lie. I also found another person online who claimed they did the same thing to them for a lot more money, leading me to believe this is their MO. After they read my comments online that detailed what they had done, they also tried to claim that they had already paid me by sending me a copy of a cashed check. The only problem was the check was for a completely different invoice, not the one they skipped out on. They even wrote the invoice number on the comment line of the check, but I guess they thought I would somehow miss that fact. I've given them ample time, more than 90 days, to pay the invoice, and have not received any payment or additional communication to this day.
