I bought a 3 day $5.95 membership. Four days later my credit card was charged $29.95 for a full month membership. And it would continue to be charged monthly if I didn't notice.
I never wanted or authorized the $29.95 membership. I wanted and paid $5.95 for 3 days.
They said that in the fine print - which IS NOT presented at the time of the $5.95 purchase - it says that if you don't cancel the membership within the 3 days, you get billed for a full month ongoing.
This fine print is provided when you first sign up to use the site under a FREE membership. They do not provide this fine print at the time of the $5.95 purchase.
This is a highly unethical way of doing business.
Please let me know if you managed to get a refund for the $29.95. Then I will pursue this further. I was turned down for a refund.
