Takes Your Money and Disappears

This is a warning to anyone that deals with this lowlife. He offers landscaping, irrigation, and sod replacement services. I pulled his ad off of here back in May, and hired him in June to do my sod replacement and irrigation work. He starts off very professional and motivated. As soon as you give him money, it all goes down the drain. Shame on me for being an idiot and giving this tool money on more than one occasion. He stole a substantial amount of money from me, and the only work he performed was ripping out my old sod and making the yard look worse than when started.

He seems to have pulled his ads from here, but in the event that you venture outside of Craigslist for this type of work, or that he comes back. His name is Steve Nease, Deltona, FL 32738, email addresses are: stene69@yahoo.com and steve. Nease@yahoo.com.

Had I done my homework before entering into contract with this waste of human breath, I'd of realized he has done this to multiple people in the Central FL area... If you pull up Volusia County records, you'll see there are several judgments against him. He blames it on his "former partner", which I'm sure doesn't even exist... He'll give you all sorts of sob stories starting with his recent divorce, death of family members, broken equipment, stolen identity, and a myriad of other problems he supposedly encounters.

I'm in the process of getting legal assistance with this to recover my losses; but we all know how that goes. If this ad helps at least ONE person, I've done my job.
