I was selling a pearl necklaces on craigslist, i had posted it for $400. I got an email from a person by the name of marry dobbin email marrydobbin@gmail.com. She explained that she was away on business and that she would like to purchase the item, but she would need me to western union the amount of $350 to her shipping company because they did not have a paypal account, which was the payment method we were supposed to be using. I than recieved what i was lead to believe wasan email from paypal stating that she was a secure member. I than recieved multiple emails over the days making it difficult to send the money. I was able to western union the money to a octavius shotwell in chigago illinois on august 2nd, who turned out to not be the shipping company. The money was than recieved on the 3rd and i recieived more emails stating that i needed to send another $600 that is when i got suspicious and discovered the scam
