I have been receiving phone calls from Capital One continuously about a credit card that I did NOT open. I have confirmed with them that they are looking for a Michele L. Lane, DOB: 1/8/44, and not from my address. They will not tell me what was charged or why they keep calling me. I have been told they would take me "off their list" a dozen times, but I still receive calls.
I checked my equifax and a Michele L. Lane is on there. I have issued a dispute through equifax.
My name is Michelle M. Lane (Ludwick, Nelson, Thies). I have asked Capital One to stop calling me multiple times, I received a call again earlier this week. I was on the phone w / Jamal, he was transferring me to the fraud department and hung up on me. I have not received any paperwork about this claim, just MANY calls on both my Cell and home number. I do not know what to do anymore. Please help.
