Stay away from capital one. They will rip you off

I've had a Capital One charge card for over 10 years. I pay my bill in full each month.in December of I received a call from Capital One fraud department informing me that my card number and information had been stolen. They suggested that I cancel the card, which I did, and that they would issue me a new card. I received my new card and thought everything was fine until I started getting the fraudulent charges on my new card. Long story short, they transferred the fraud mess from my old card to my new card. The fraud charges are not the problem. It's the "Purchase Adjustments" that Capital One added to my account totaling over $1100.00. After over a dozen phone calls to Customer no Service, the Fraud Department and the Claims Dispute Department, it became obvious that no one knew how to correct this problem. I contacted an Attorney, who advised me to stop using the card, which I did. I have now sent them 3 certified letters requesting that they remove these charges from my account. Each time, I receive a computer generated response asking me to call them. I will no longer call them because I'm always told that "we will investigate and call you back" which never happens. My next step is small claims court, in hopes of protecting my 820 credit rating.
