I ordered 25 Buckeye chicks and paid through PayPal. I received no confirmation or information about when chicks would be delivered. I called number given, 937-726-7294, a number of times with no answer. I sent several e-mails with no answer. Finally I lodged a complaint with Paypal. Because it is the sale of live animals it is excluded from PayPals normal guarantee. However, once I contacted Paypal David did respond by e-mail and a call. I was promised the chicks several times and they were never sent. Finally I asked for a refund, in July, and was told my refund would be sent in order, as he had a lot of refunds to make. At this point he is still advertising that he has lots of eggs and chicks ready to go. He may be successfully hatching chicks, but I believe that he is guilty of false advertising by telling people he has a product to sell that he isn't able to produce. Otherwise I would have received the chicks.
It is now August, I am still waiting for my refund of $115. My next step will be to file with Ohio's Attorney General Mr. DeWine.
