Originally I inquired about renting a water slide - for a kids party. (two weeks in advance) and Irene, the owner, called at 10pm the night before and cancelled. She stated "I have to go out of town". That was it no reason of explaination was given. But, she did mention she would allow us to use her again free of charge next time we needed a rental. So, we took her up on her offer. This time, I called 5 days prior to my child's 7th birthday party. (Monday) I left a message asking her to confirm. She called back and said she was watching the weather and if the rain chances were 40% or more they would not deliver. So, I called her again on Wednesday & left a message. I informed her I checked on Thw Weather Channel and it only said 30%. I never heard back. Then, on Friday, I called again and said I just checked online at The Weather Channel and the rain chances went down to 20% late evening. She returned my call and said we were still on (she spoke with my husband) and that the water slide woudl be delivered before 1pm. Saturday came. No calls, text messages or even an email. She no-showed. I called her countless times. Then, when we realized what we knew what would happen all along, we started calling around town - two hours before the party. I still have not heard back from her or her husband. Considering I left numerous messages on both numbers provided on the website. I do not reccommend "PartwithCris" to anyone unless you are willing to have a backup for every event you plan. We ended up paying for two slides for both parties (seperate) together went spend over $750 to cover the cost of $250 per rental with Irene which would have cost $500 when we would have used her and she would have been responsible and shown up. We had a verbal agreement and she broke it twice.
