Unauthorized Credit Charge

I used a credit card for a carryout purchase. I did not add a tip since I picked up the order myself. When I got my credit card statement, I saw that the charge was for $1 more than I authorized. Either the Pizza Hut employee added the $1 himself, which is fraud/theft, or he keyed in the wrong amount when billing the credit card company, which is careless and negligent. Either one is bad. After denial on their part and insistence on mine, I finally got a weak, half-hearted apology and they lost a good customer.
