Miscellaneous

Two young men came to our door stating they were selling magazines for a college trip. Having 2 daughters in college ourselves, we felt obligated to "help". We purchased 2 magazines and wrote a check for $60.00. The young men said we would receive our magazines within 120 days. We waited the designated time period patiently waiting for our order. After about 4 months, we realized there was a problem. My husband contacted the company via the number on the receipt and was told we would receive double the issues for our trouble. We waited a few more months but nothing came in the mail. When my husband attempted to contact the company again, the number was disconnected. We have gone through all the routes know to us in an attempt to get our money returned or receive our magazines. So far in vain. I would like to make this scam company public so noone else goes through the agony of patiently waiting for an item that will NEVER arrive. It is appalling that this "company" has been allowed to dupe so many people without anyone knowing the "company" past.
