Unnecessary Referral

My daughter is a juvenile diabetic. She was seen by the optometrist and I was told she needs to see a retinal eye specialist since she is a juvenile diabetic. I make an appointment with another company and come to find out she was seen by an optometrist again, BUT now I get a bill. There is no retinal eye specialist that you can see unless the optometrist see an problem within the eye. So now her insurance billed me for the second appointment with a different company because the optometrist at USA Optical saw no deficiencies in her eyes but he still gave me the recommendation. I called and talked to the owner and he disagrees with me, he says I am in the wrong. Well I now have a six hundred dollar bill and he could careless. I will NEVER go there again. I like the staff but this topped it off.
