Violations of Hippocratic Oath and Patient Rights

I returned to Jules Stein for a eye exam, because I had a eye exam there in the past, and was fitted with permeable lens by a Ophthalmologist, so my medical records and prescription were available to the Jules Stein Optometrist. The Optometrist that performed my eye exam did not inform me during the exam that my vision had not changed to a degree that would require a new lens at a extra cost.

In the conclusion of the eye exam, the Optometrist instead forced a contact warranty plan on me. The Optometrist shamelessly took advantage of a patient that is permanently disabled. The Optometrist instead was supposed to next perform glaucoma testing, and a third test to complete the eye exam.

I believe that my patient right to be informed of key information of no significant change in my vision to justify a charge in medical
bills of over $1300.00 dollars. When I already had near perfect vision before even stepping foot on the premises of Jules Stein.

It gets worst, the Optometrist tried to force me to wear the only soft contact lens that Jule Stein only offered. I had difficultly installing the lens. Dry eyes may have been a factor..
