The optometrist suggested our 10 year old daughter needed a bifocal to strengthen her eye muscles and did not need corrective lenses. When she failed a vision screening at school, we brought her to an ophthalmologist. Six months later not only does she need corrective lenses, but she also has astigmatisms. There is no way that this was not the case 6 months ago and we were scammed into spending unnecessary money.
