Internet love scam with promises of romance, marriage. Gained my trust in belief in him as he provided me with his Social Security#, his bank info (which did check out but don't know now if he stole this identity and info). Said his bank account was frozen since he had to go to Nigeria to work on the Rail Project (which there really is a Project of that going on). His money for the job was coming from the Nigerian government and in a fixed account. So he didn't have access to it. So he got hold of one of his previous clients who still owed him money for his services and the client sent me a Cashiers Check for $3580.00 USD. Was to send him $3500 so he could pay his bills and leave to come back to the states. Found out 2 days later from my bank that the check was a fraud but was too late cos had already sent him the money. So now I have to pay back the bank the $3580 plus I lost what i had in that account which was about $900 to go towards that bad check. So all in all I lost $4480. I immediately let him know about the check and his client. He said he didn't know anything about it. So I'm still keeping contact with him mainly to see what else will develop so I can get more info about him and this client and more proof of this scam.
