I answered an ad on Craiglist for a $2,400 Honda Accord. The owner (Robin Downing) claimed that she is selling it for that price because she is leaving to Afghanistan and didn't want it to get old in her garage. I thought I was getting a deal for my teenage daughter who just started college. I was not aware of all the scams and was too trusting with the seller. She told me to send the money through Money Gram via Ebay, which will hold it until I received the car. I received a confirmation email from Ebay (or what I thought was Ebay). She then told me that she will be shipping the car that night but that was the last I heard from her. She stopped answering my emails and all my daughter's money is gone.
