Weltman, Weinburg & Reis
Fishing for my Bank Account Numbers

I came to a settlement with Weinburg, Weltmam & and Reis on 07/01. One condition of the settlement was that receive the funds by 07/05. Its a holiday weekend. Banks and Post Office are closed until 07/05. Dept settlement company I've been working through said they couldn't do this in time. They told me to take the money out of my esgrow account and put it into my checking account.

I did this immediately.

Luckely for me the money didn't get into my account before the close of business that day (07/01). This gave me time to think about this transaction. I was driving at the time that I got the phone call from settlement company. I was going to give them my banking information. BIG MISTAKE.

On 07/05 I am going to try and wire the money to them from an escrow account from my bank. I have to call WWR first to see if they will give me an account number to send it to. I do have a statement from them that they accept this payment as full and completesettlement of the subject claim. Lets see how this works out!

They had to know that this would be difficult to accomplish by this target date. Is this an oversight or are they fishing for my account numbers. We'll see by how they respond to my request.
