Wisconsin to VA Beach

Last month, I had the pleasure of taking a bus trip from Eau Claire WI to Virginia Beach. I took this trip with two of my kids, ages 16 and 14. It was cheaper to take the bus than to drive, if you add the expenses of hotels along the way if driving.

Like any travel adventure, there was some good, and some things to be improved:

Good:

1. Some of our buses had WiFi. Nice!

2. Security in the terminals - good to see. (My daughter takes Greyhound from VA to Wisconsin on a regular basis - good to see security)

3. Terminals overall were clean - Pittsburgh terminal was remodeled from the days of my youth.

Needs some work:

1. Other than our initial departure from WI - no bus left on time. While we didn't miss any connections... We came close a couple of times

2. Please enforce your carry-on restrictions. Many of our buses were close to full. I don't have a problem with that (the company needs to turn a profit), but it's tough when someone has 5 carry on bags (not an exaggeration)

3.install GPS on the bus so the driver doesn't get lost (Cleveland to Pittsburgh comes to mind).

4. Make sure your cleaning crews keep sanitizer in the bathroom (I brought my own, but...)

For the price, Greyhound gets you there.
