Unprofessional scammers

Requested a $69 consultation for an AC unit from this company. The employee arrived to do the estimate then continued to start and complete work without an approval of an estimate. Charged $180 per hour. We refused to pay without speaking to a manager about the work done without consent. The "manager" came next business day and said it should have only been $120/hour then later retracted back to $180.

The moment he was left in the room alone we caught him on surveillance tape speaking with an owner or manager of some kind about how they should go up and destroy our AC unit irreparably "like the old school days." Not sure how many units this company has rigged for failure "in the old school days" according to that conversation. This should be enough to deter anyone needing AC repair, commercial or residential from ever considering using this company. Buyer Beware of Schmidt's AC Service Company. Mesa, AZ.
