Bad Cordless Phone Batteries!

My story is not much different than most of them already entered here. I am just sorry I didn't see these before I paid them for 2 batteries for my AT&T cordless phones, (their website advertised them as AT&T Lucent brand). I guess the old story holds true here, you get what you pay for. I thought I had found a reputable internet sales co. That had low overhead & could offer better than normal prices from buying overseas in bulk, so I paid through PayPal for the 2 batteries. I received them about a week after my order was placed. I immediately put them in my 2 phones & placed them on the chargers for the initial required 12 hour charge, but they did not take a charge.in fact, one is a totally dead cell. The other had a little bit of juice, but never would take a charge at all after being on the charger for 12 hours. Plus they were both very warm to the touch after being on the chargers which indicates they are dangerous. I immediately took them out of the phones & put my old batteries back in which still work even though they are going dead.

I tried to contact them by email right away that morning, requesting a refund or replacement, but no reply. I started researching them after that & discovered this place, as well as complaints against them with the BBB in California. I emailed them again this morning requesting a refund as I am now afraid of any replacements they may send from everything I have read. Still no reply 12 hours later, 2 days after the 1st email. I found their phone number here, although they do not list it on their website. I called them this afternoon & got a voicemail, (no surprise there), & left them a message to contact me asap about their product & again requested a refund. I have not heard from them yet & highly doubt I will. I have now opened a dispute claim with PayPal & requested a refund through them. I can only hope they take care of it after PayPal contacts them. All I can say is "buyer beware"! Evidently this co. Does not have the brand names they claim on their website.
