I flew redeye from Long Beach, CA to Ft. Lauderdale, FL on January 28. I fell in the jetway and thought I had badly sprained my ankle. I inquired about JetBlue assistance and they said they only could call Paramedics. I declined but asked for ice and a wheelchair. When we got to the cruise ship, I went to their medical department. It was determined I broke my foot and they treated me. After the cruise, I contacted JetBlue and they said since I didn't fill out a report at the airport, too bad. When you're in pain, you're not thinking about that. Also, I talked to JB personnel and they never suggested I fill out a report. Did they do this to save on their insurance? Meanwhile, so far I have almost $2,000 in medical bills. They said they would give me a $100 voucher for my next flight - there will be No next flight.
