Beware and read the fine print. - storage

My husbands contents were auctioned. We paid the rental fees via bank checks and they were mailed back stating they only accepted certified funds. Bank checks ARE certified funds. I have been waiting to hear back regarding lien placement and auction ad placement. Recently we got a bill from their attorney for $500 plus dollars which I have because there are 2 checks that were not cashed made payable to them. Where is the money that they got for the Lenox China and Sterling Silver??? I have a complaint on storage units in general with the State
s Attorney. If you own real estate get a POD and keep your stuff at home. I have personally done storage units with BRT in Danbury, CT and the experience was great. Stay away from Extra Space and do business with a local company.
