When I bought my new house, I had Dish Network move my service. I have a garage with a guest room that is about three feet from my main home. When the contractor (Dish Network's guy) came to install the satellite, he made it to where we could watch TV in both areas from one receiver. One day, I dropped my remote in a glass of orange juice and needed to know how to program my new one. Apparently, I said something wrong on my call to the representative because he started accusing me of stealing satellite because I was able to use one receiver for two TVs. I explained that I was using the system as it had been originally set up by Dish Network by a Dish Network contractor, and that I had no idea how to steal satellite. I was calling for help with programming my remote for goodness' sake! Anyway, this guy named Blair in the receiver audit department started psychologically messing with me. I would call and speak with a different rep and they would restore my service; then Blair would find out and cut it off again. This continued for weeks, so finally, I canceled my service and returned their equipment. They said I had to pay a cancelation fee, and I told them to stick it. I never paid and I am now using Direct TV, which is almost as bad. At least they don't take out personal vendettas against their customers like Blair the psycho did. At least not yet.
