Trying for Refund for Five Months!

I received a phone call about mid January from Mr Morton about getting 6 percent interest on our credit cards. It sounded great at that time to me because we had so many bills. I hadnt told my husband about all the bills until this phone call. Before i told him, i gave these people my credit card number. They immediately took 1200 dollars out of it. We are both seniors, not in best of health, so my husband suggested we try our mortgage company. Which we did and got a 4 percent mortgage refinancing and all bills consolidated. This was 100 percent better for us, because we were worried about leavingbills when were gone for our kids. I called Mr Morton card services to ask them to not do that, because we got a better deal. I did that a day later after i spoke to them the first time. Was given the excuse that it would take 3 months for a refund. We waited 3 months and a bit more. Nothing showed up, so i called them. They said it was in litigation, and they would call when it was ok again.

Of course no one phoned and was told by the supervisor i should have it in a few days. Greg S. Is the person i have spoken to in the last roughly two months. He's told me they'll courier it. And many, many other excuses. Today he tells me the owner has to have all information concerning our mortgage consolidation and all the receipts showing all bills were paid. On the advice of our lawyer we're not doing that because the lawyer said it isn't their business. Any help you can give us would be greatly appreciated. I even asked Greg today if he would be happy being treated as shabilly as they treated me. Sincerely, Sheila
