I ordered the "Apple TV" product specifically because Apple advertised that you could stream any media appearing on your iPhone 4 through the product and onto your television. It turns out that is a rash mischaracterization of what you can actually do, as, apparently, web developers need to actively enable that streaming in their coding. As such, I could not find a single site through the iPhone's Safari application that allowed for the streaming — only the YouTube application pre-installed on the iPhone allowed for the streaming through the Apple TV.

(note that I was able to return the product without issue to the Apple store, but I'm sure many, many other people have kept the device past the relevant return period and are stuck with a product falsely advertised)
