Home Modification

I started my home modicfication in late 2009and in Feb. 24. I sign the paper work to agree to the new modification terms and sent them in to BAC. It has not been finalized yet and I have repeatedly call to find out what is going on. The only answer I get is they are waiting for a investor and mean while my credit score has dropped because they show I have not been make my payments. I have been sending in my payments at the new agreed amount that they told me to pay and the money is been put in to some kind of hold and redistributed every so often to show that I have paid on it. I called to see if there was anything they could do to help with my credit score and the lady I talk to told my they would not fix the credit untill the modification was done. I think 15 months is plenty of time to get it done and fix my credit.
