Improper Labeling of Fuel on Pumps

Miscellaneous

The regular fuel pumps are indicating 87 to 89 octane rating. Some regular pumps are labeled 87 and others at the station are labeled 89. My 2006 Acura MDX requires a higher level than just 87. This is mislabeling the product.

When I discussed this with the clerk they had no idea what I was talking about. This fuel is either 87 or 89. Which one is it and isn't there some type of requirements that the fuel should be properly labeled?
