AARP advertises Consumer Cellular for its senior citizen market. What they don't say, is that you must have excellent credit in order to qualify. If you don't they will contact credit reporting agencies and file a negative report. And you will receive a credit denial letter in the mail. Most people know what shape their credit is in. Iin their advertising they could save our seniors some time by simply saying or stating, "excellent credit is required". AARP should also state that when promoting any such company.
