Bottom line, if you have a package shipped using the usps flat rate mailers, the postal service is not responsible, nor do they care you even receive your package. I had a company deliver a package in January, using this method. The postal carrier said she delivered the package, while I was out of town, and having all mail and packages held at the post office. While we were out of town. After 8 months of correspondence, was told the carrier delivered the package, end of story. I did not get the package, and am out 565.00 plus all the postage of correspondence with the post office. Buyer be ware if you use this service, you have to buy extra insurance so you hold them responsible, and they cannot wiggle out of paying claims. This is not fair, it is legal theft.
