Paying for service that they never provided

I thought that I had found the perfect company. They seemed to be honest and very personalble. It seemed that they were doing me a fovor. Everything was fine. If I had a problem he would send out someone to fix the problem. When my Fire Inspection was due I did not pass. I learned that there was no telephone number attached to the fire alarm. When I contacted Dan the owner, I learned that the knowledgable man that originally fixed my system no longer worked there. He promised to have someone there to fix the problem. He even came out himself and told me to get another phone line which I did. He never showed up. I could not open my Faith based daycare because he did not do what he said he would. I opened a second daycare that also used his services. I later learned when I visited his office that he did not have a worker to replace the knowlegable man that initially put my system in. I sent him a letter stating that he owed me $111.00 for the year I had no security but as billed for it. Without my knowledge my security was shut off from both daycare centers. Had it not been for a child pulling the alarm pully I would not have known it wasn't operating. We had so service for approxiamately 3 months. Suppose we had a fire! We now do fired drills more often.
