Thank you to all the other people that posted about this being a scam. I recieved a check for $2,960. Very werid how it came from Canada, but the company is in New York, while the "Bank" is in LA. Also the fact it needs to be "activated" sent me on a search and I'm very glad I looked before running to the bank.
