Sprint deleted my voicemails - Customer Service / New Cell Phone

I just upgraded to an HTC Sense, the 3d android phone. Not really a bleeding edge person but my old HTC 6800 kept locking up and was 'repaired' 3 times in 6 months and was again not charging.

When I bought the phone I asked specifically if the voicemail system would keep my messages and not be deleted. I was told specifically no problem, they will not be deleted.

Guess what they were all deleted. Brand new voicemail to set up. Called Sprint and they will not do anything, no credit, no help, nothing. I was told point blank they had alot of cutbacks and no one has authority to offer any service credits anymore, period. What a dissapointment from a company that tried to get better I (suffered through with them for 15 years, as the service was fine, but any upgrade or customer service call was always a disaster, but their old price points made sense).

Be aware Sprint is no longer concered with customer retention and will not correct a wrong.
