Oreos all cracked and crushed

My family and I purchased a couple packs of oreos and we opened up one and the cookies where all cracked and sorta crushed up. Then we opened up the next package and they were also like that. We love Oreos but what makes an Oreo an Oreo is being able to twist the sides apart to get the filling. Hopefully this won't happen again. Thanks!
