I Bought my 1.4 Trend Ford Fiesta in 2009 from Lazarus Motors. It has a 120 000km4 year service plan.
Because Allen Josh Ford in Wonderboom is closer to my home I take it there for service.
This year 20 Oct it went for the 40 000km service.
According to the service schedule Allen Josh gave me per request @ 20 000km service after they also misled me beforehand on my pollen filter (Danie the service consultant indicated it would be replaced at that service after I mentioned that they had to please look at the airflow when the car went in for Service)
According to the schedule the additional ad hoc belts have to be inspected at 40 000km.
That was 1500 km ago. I had 3 weeks study leave in between and has only travelled with the car about 9 times since service.
They told me everything was fine with the car! Not even a ' maybe think about changing the V - belt'
Tonight the V-belt patially disintegrated - left me with a broken down car on a nearly deserted road near Krugersdorp - 500m from a busy Sibien!
I am a single white girl - they literally put my live in danger due to bad service!!
