Watch Movement

I purchased a watch movement and could not get it to function. They said that I could not return the movement because the return time is no more than 10 days. Any companythat sells a watch has at least one year warranty. They also stated that the item was functioning at time of shippment and there is no other warranty. They stated to me on the phone that they purchased the movement from Seiko as is. I have been in business for 60 years and have never purchased any watch part from Seiko with out a return policy of at least 90 day and most of the time a one year time return. To say the least, I am not satified with this company. What course of action do I have?
