Bought an Invicta 1001 with NH35A and got used 1001 with NH25A!

Shops, Products, Services

On Sept. 19th 2012 I ordered a new Invicta 1001 automatic purple dial watch with and NH35A movement. I was sent a watch in a padded envelope with no cardboard outer box and not all of the plastic on the watch. When I read the description on Amazon it clearly states Japanese 24 jewel automatic movement and my watch contains a 21 jewel automatic. I contacted them and they said they were sorry I did not like the watch and I could ship it back at my expense for an exchange or return. After one email that said nothing and two days later that was their answer. So I wrote back saying it was unacceptable and they needed to provide a shipping label. They also said if the watch had been sized or worn it could not be exchanged or returned. I told them I sized it. Professionally when I for it then noticed the wrong movement when I tried to set it. Classic bait and switch. The seller was unapologetic and has had to be threatened and pushed at each step just to do the basics of customer service. This is a horrible company and I hope that with warnings like this they will shape up or get out of business. Right now they are not honest or ethical and I question all of their business practices. I will never buy from them again.
