Ripped Off Twice! (Almost) Whenever you get an unsolicited phone call from a company like this, EVERYONE BEWARE! Atlanta And Long Beach Georgia and California

Global Financial of Atlanta, Georgia and CR Bancorp are both the biggest ripoffs! It's amazing to me that these companies are still doing business. They are scamming hard-working people who have had credit problems into thinking that they will receive a major credit card with a credit line of $2500. Whenever you get an unsolicited phone call from a company like this, EVERYONE BEWARE! My advice is don't even talk to them, just immediately hang up the phone. Global Financial called me at home offering me a credit card and after they deducted $221 from my checking account, they assured me I would receive my "credit card" and package in about 4 weeks. Well, after about 12 weeks, I received a large envelope with a lot of useless information and instead of the promised credit card, what I actually received was an application for a bank card which required me to have my payroll funds deposited into it. Why would I do that when I already have direct deposit with my credit union? About 8 months later, here comes CR Bancorp. To show you how desperate these people are, the man I spoke with on the phone rushed me through what was obviously a "script" and once he got the information he wanted, he quickly got off the phone. I knew it was a scam, but I just couldn't believe this was happening to me again! I called to cancel the order and I have informed my credit union that this company is fraudulent and I have not authorized them to take any funds from my checking account. As for Global Financial, I reported them to the Better Business Bureau in Atlanta, Georgia and received a response back from them indicating that Global was currently being investigated, but they informed me that they could not guarantee that I would ever get my money back. Everyone beware of these ripoff companies! If you should receive a telephone call from any company offering you a credit card and asking for your banking information, do not talk to them. TELL THEM YOU KNOW THAT THEY ARE FRAUDS AND YOU'LL REPORT THEM TO THE POLICE IF THEY CALL AGAIN! It's a shame that more is not being done to protect the general public from these unscrupulous pigs!
